Clarke Medical Imaging Center provides Bone Densitometry examinations covered by RAMQ
You need a referral from your doctor and your Quebec Health insurance card;
Please advise our staff if any possibility of pregnancy;
You may be asked to remove some or all of your clothes and jewellery and to wear a gown during the exam.
Please inform the technologist if you recently had a barium examination or have been injected with a contrast material for a CT scan. If so, you may have to wait before undergoing a Bone Density Scan.
