X-RAYS
General x-rays are without appointment. Please arrive with your medical request and your RAMQ card at least 30 minutes before closing.
For any other examination, booking is necessary.
Radiography
Standard radiography is a non-invasive, painless medical imaging technique that uses X-Rays to visualize the skeleton (appearing white), certain soft tissues (gray), and air (black) in two dimensions. This common examinations is essential for detecting fractures, bone abnormalities, certain lung conditions and is often used as a first line for monitoring various health problems.
Clarke Medical Imaging Center offers X-Ray services rapidly and covered by RAMQ.
Your comfort and the accuracy of your exams are our priorities. Our clinic combines advances radiological technology with a professional and pleasant environment.
Clarke's X-Ray Procedure
X-rays generally require no specific preparation. For your comfort and image quality, you will be positioned (standing, sitting, or lying down) on an examination table after putting a gown and removing any metal objects from the area to be examined. Please report any discomfort during positioning and inform us of any possible pregnancy. Several images will be taken, often from the front and side, and we may ask you to remain still and hold your breath briefly to ensure clear images.
IMPORTANT
PRESCRIPTION AND RAMQ CARD REQUIRED.
Please present a valid prescription and your original RAMQ card for each exam. Without a RAMQ card, fees will apply.
